Refund Policy
Sawyer Cutler, ("Company," "Eidolon," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to customer satisfaction. However, due to the nature of our Products, which include pre-built software downloads, refunds are only offered in limited circumstances as outlined below. By purchasing and downloading our Products, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to this policy.
Digital Product Refund Eligibility
Given the instant-access nature of digital downloads, refunds are generally not available once a Product has been accessed or downloaded. We may, however, offer refunds in cases where: 1) there was an error on our end resulting in an incorrect or unusable Product, 2) the Product does not function as described, or 3) there was a double or accidental charge due to a payment error. Refunds are provided solely at our discretion.
Refund Requests
To request a refund, please contact us at contact@dirtroad.dev within 14 days of purchase with a detailed description of your issue, including the order number, payment information, and evidence of any errors or issues you encountered. Refund requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis, and we reserve the right to refuse a request if it does not meet the eligibility criteria.
Non-Refundable Circumstances
Refunds will not be issued in the following cases: 1) Change of mind or dissatisfaction unrelated to technical issues; 2) Misunderstanding of product features or functionalities; 3) Failure to read the product description prior to purchase; 4) Situations where the Product has already been used for its intended purpose or redistributed in any form; 5) Issues resulting from misuse or failure to comply with the provided installation instructions.
In-Store Credits and Alternatives
In cases where refunds are not applicable, Eidolon may, at its discretion, offer alternative resolutions such as in-store credits, product exchanges, or free updates where available. Such alternatives are determined based on the specifics of the case and our ability to resolve the issue.
Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback without first attempting to resolve your issue with us, we reserve the right to dispute the chargeback. We may also restrict your ability to make future purchases from Eidolon and may revoke any licenses previously granted under the terms of sale. Please contact our support team to resolve any disputes amicably before pursuing a chargeback with your bank.
Exceptions for Certain Jurisdictions
Certain jurisdictions may have specific laws regarding digital product refunds. If you reside in such a jurisdiction, this policy will be interpreted in compliance with those laws. For example, residents of the European Union may have rights under EU consumer protection laws for digital content, including a 14-day cancellation period, which may be waived once the download is accessed. Where applicable, Eidolon will comply with such regulations.
Processing of Approved Refunds
Once a refund request has been approved, we will process the refund through the original payment method (e.g., Stripe) within 10 business days. Please note that it may take additional time for the funds to appear on your statement, depending on your financial institution's processing times. You will be notified via email when your refund has been issued. The license you are receiving a refund back on will be revoked when the refund is completed.
